Jazz for Kids-Concert

A music education project in cooperation with the Gustav Mahler Private University of Music. In 2024, the GMPU Jazz Orchestra will dedicate itself to the topic of “Jazz for Children”. The young audience is directly involved in the musical events and introduced in a humorous way to the swinging world of big band music. There is conducting, drumming, dancing and even small instruments are made and tried out directly.

A concert experience can be booked for elementary school classes.

BIG BAND! Ella loves jazz music more than anything. One day her most cherished dream will come true: a real big band with shiny trumpets, impressive trombones, fast saxophones and wild drums and she’ll be right in the middle of it all! Ella’s friend Louis would also like to play along, which he does in the end… At this jazz concert, children big and small are introduced to the swinging world of big band music and its instruments in a humorous and interactive way.
