QUE LES JEUX COMMENCENT!
Yes and amen
The baroque mass at the grand abbey church is one of the highlights on the second day. The interior is decorated with stucco (Wessobrunner Werkstatt) and frescos (J.F. Fromiller) and offers the perfect backdrop for the baroque-inspired “happy catholocism” that has been called for again today by the historian Peter Hersche.
Queen trumps King
How did the people of the baroque era pass the time to the next feast? Well, with a lot of fun games, of course. The favorite: A wooden XXL version of chess where you will be gallantly accompanied by Queen and King. Trés bon Also taste and try the baroque cuisine. Either very original, or adapted to fit the modern age. At the “Fête Baroque”, you will be happy to find both.
