Advent in Ossiach Abbey

From December 5–8, 2025, the very first Advent will transform Ossiach Abbey into a sparkling Christmas wonderland — best enjoyed with the whole family. If you love to spend the Advent season surrounded by atmospheric music, sweet treats, and a leisurely stroll through a Christmas market, then this is your place: the festively decorated Ossiach Abbey. Here you can sweeten the wait for Christmas with concerts, a colorful program of dance and theater, and delicious culinary delights.

Program Highlights:

• Advent & Culture – arts & crafts, culinary delights, music, dance, and theater
• Children’s Advent with St. Nicholas arriving across the lake and bringing gifts
• Musical program by the CMA, schools, choirs & brass ensembles, bands, and concerts in the church and in the Alban Berg Concert Hall
• Advent stories told by professional actors
• Culinary indulgence ranging from regional specialties at our CMA Culinary Campus Ossiach to sweet delights from various stalls
