Master Class: Clarinet – Manuel Gangl

The MASTER CLASSES at the Carinthian Music Academy offer a unique opportunity to develop artistically and musically in an inspiring environment.

The participants have the opportunity to intensively work with their instrument or their singing voice over a certain period of time. You will experience musical development and artistic inspiration in lessons with renowned lecturers. In addition, the excellently equipped rooms create the optimal conditions for concentrated work and creative expression.

The master classes are aimed at all students at music colleges and universities, from professional to amateur musicians, who want to prepare for a wide range of musical goals, be it a university entrance exam, an audition, a concert performance, participation in a competition or in an individual program of their choice .

Lecturer: Manuel Gangl

Experience an exciting and fascinating master class in its entirety with Manuel Gangl, clarinetist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra: from the E-flat clarinet, B-clarinet and A-clarinet to the bass clarinet, right up to current compositions and arrangements. We will make music together and exchange ideas. The course is perfect for students at music colleges and conservatories, music educators, professional musicians, music students and amateur musicians at an advanced level.

Program:

* Free choice of program from the solo and concert repertoire.

* Participants are welcome to announce their program in advance.

* The participant must bring their own sheet music.

Included in the course fee are:

· Four teaching units of 50 minutes each

· Use of the rooms and practice bunks

· Possibility of accompaniment

· Performance at the participants’ concert

Welcome and lesson plan on Wednesday, May 8th at 12:30 p.m.

Individual teaching units are arranged on site with the lecturer.

Participant concert: Sunday, May 12th at 10 a.m
