Arranging & Orchestrating – From Beginner to Professional with Matthias Werner

Whether for chamber ensemble, wind orchestra, or full symphony orchestra – the creative shaping of tone colors, voices, and structures lies at the heart of arranging. In this hands-on workshop, Matthias Werner provides in-depth knowledge of arrangement, instrumentation, and orchestration – from solid craftsmanship to artistic refinement.

Schedule:

Day 1 – Crash Course: Arrangement / Instrumentation / Orchestration
Fundamentals, tools, and techniques for beginners and advanced participants.

Day 2 – Analysis & Feedback
Review of submitted participant arrangements: tips, tricks, and practical solutions.
(Participants will receive a small preparatory task in advance.)

Target Group:

Music school teachers, arrangers, composers, and anyone interested – regardless of experience level.
All musical styles are welcome – from chamber music and wind orchestra to symphony orchestra.
